About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join the ACT Property team. Flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Conveyancer:

  • Experience in Conveyancing;
  • Pre-exchange file management, including meeting with clients with oversight from solicitor, negotiating amendments to contract and attending to exchange;
  • Post-exchange file management, including liaising with lenders, agents, other solicitors and relevant stakeholders, preparing and issuing settlement statements;
  • Ability to develop client relationships and leverage on existing relationships with clients and industry stakeholders;
  • Experience with LEAP and PEXA highly regarded.

We are looking for a Legal Administrator to join our firm in the Personal Injury and Compensation team. You will work directly with senior Practitioners and assist with coordinating workflows, management of junior staff and the litigation commitments of the team. Ideally candidates will have experience working in the areas of personal injury and compensation, however relevant experience in a litigation practice would be considered.

You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.

Training will be provided. You will be:

  • Coordinating workflow and diary management for a litigation team
  • Assisting with administrative tasks in complex litigation and other matters
  • Preparing drafts of correspondence and legal documents
  • Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with senior Practitioners and assisting with the management of junior staff
