Katherine Le Breton joined Chamberlains on 27 January 2026 following the merger with Braye Cragg Solicitors. She brings significant experience in family law and a reputation for compassionate, insightful and practical client support.
Katherine is an Associate with qualifications including a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2018 and is also admitted in the High Court of Australia. She is a member of the Legal Aid Family Law Panel, the Law Society of New South Wales and the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.
She assists clients with property settlements, parenting arrangements, recovery orders, relocation applications, mediation and appearances in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Regularly appearing in both Divisions 1 and 2 of the Court, Katherine represents clients at hearings and guides them through negotiation and dispute resolution processes.
Her early interest in child psychology gives her a deep understanding of human behaviour and emotion, shaping her empathetic approach to family law. Katherine is dedicated to simplifying the legal process, reducing stress and supporting clients to make informed decisions in their best interests.
