Angela heads our Commercial and Workplace Law practice at Chamberlains Law Firm. With over 18 years’ experience as a commercial and workplace law solicitor, Angela has had carriage and oversight of a wide range of matters including commercial transactions, workplace disputes, commercial litigation, breach of contract claims, data and privacy claims, and general corporate advisory.

Angela’s ethos is centred on exceeding client expectations and servicing the unique legal and operational needs of business owners and companies across the nation. Angela’s advice is two-fold: commercial and pragmatic. Angela understands the needs of her clients and will work with them to provide a tailored approach to their legal requirements.

Angela values the importance of education and supports our upcoming lawyers with student placements and dedicated mentorship programs to provide students with the insight and opportunity to make their mark from an early stage in their career. Angela is also a Board member of the Canberra Business Chamber, providing pivotal legal and governance support to pillars of her local business community.

Liam was born and raised on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. He completed a double degree in Law and Criminology and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in June 2018.

Prior to joining the Corporate, Commercial and Workplace team at Chamberlains Law Firm in March 2025, Liam worked in several busy generalist practices and so he brings with him extensive experience across a wide range of legal areas.

Liam has experience representing and advocating for clients in all jurisdictions in New South Wales, from the Small Claims Division to the Supreme Court as well as the Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Fair Work Commission.

Liam strives to efficient, pragmatic and approachable, and he enjoys working with clients to achieve satisfactory outcomes.

When he is not working, Liam usually spends his time clinging onto the remnants of a failed sporting career, enjoying a good book or a weekend coffee with friends.

Isabella started at Chamberlains Law Firm as a receptionist in 2022 based in our Sydney office. Isabella holds a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2024. Before joining Chamberlains, Isabella previously worked at the Dust Diseases Tribunal of New South Wales, assisting with the civil litigation of asbestos and other dust-related claims.

Isabella has excelled at Chamberlains Law Firm, quickly working her way up the ladder in our Workplace Law Team from a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Law Graduate and is now a Lawyer. This has allowed Isabella to gain extensive experience and curate an invaluable skillset across a multitude of employment and industrial relations matters at all stages of the employment relationship including, human resources, contracts, agreements and policies, employee management, employee entitlements and legislative compliance, workplace investigations, termination, restraints, restructuring and redundancy, as well as litigation. Isabella also assists with various commercial and corporate matters.

Notably, Isabella has assisted both employer and employee clients in several types of cases including Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Unfair Dismissals, Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, and General Protections in multiple jurisdictions across Australia including the ACT, the NT and NSW. Isabella has appeared in the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Fair Work Commission.  Isabella’s advantageous experience in representing and advising both employer and employee clients, in the public and private sectors, provides her with a unique edge. Isabella utilises her expertise to find innovative and beneficial solutions, tailored to suit her client’s specific needs.  Motivated by her passion of supporting those in need, Isabella applies her pragmatic and empathetic approach to provide high quality legal services.

Mia is a dedicated Paralegal in the Private Wealth Team at Chamberlains.

She is currently pursuing her LLB in Law and Arts at the University of New South Wales majoring in Politics and International Relations and Sociology.

Mia takes on a variety of responsibilities to assist her team at Chamberlains. Her responsibilities include conducting legal research, managing client files, and gathering relevant information for a variety of matters, Mia communicates with clients, witnesses, asset holders and court officials to facilitate case progression in a diverse range of Private Wealth matters including Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Contentious Estates and Creation of Trusts.

Outside of the office, Mia is a dedicated and passionate artist in all mediums – painting, sketching, photography, videography and sculpture – attached at the hip to her digital sketchbook.
