At the beginning of his career, Anthony worked in the liquor industry with a national wine producer in Brisbane and then Sydney. After working his way up to Senior Account Management roles, he moved into one of the two major brewers and then the largest family-owned brewery in Australia with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle under his belt. Anthony tragically lost some close friends along the way, which ultimately lead him to reassess his direction in life and take on part-time law at The University of Newcastle while still working full-time. During his study, he dealt with his own family law parenting and financial matter, fueling his drive to support those who are troubled with the same difficult experiences.
He graduated law with Honours Class I in June 2018. Anthony then completed the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and began practicing in March 2019. Anthony holds admissions to both the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia and has spent the vast majority of his practice in Family Law dealing with a range of matters such as parenting disputes, child support agreements, relocation matters, financial agreements, alternative dispute resolution and financial settlements. His economics and commerce qualification coupled with his industry experience serve him well in navigating the complexities of financial matters. From his own personal experience, Anthony understands the emotional toll of dealing with a family law matter.
Anthony has now moved into a new chapter with his current partner, creating a blended family with two girls from either side of the family between the ages 14 and 18. The collection of his experiences allows Anthony to empathise with his clients and establish meaningful connections to those in need. If you are looking for a Family Lawyer that truly cares and understands you, Anthony Quinn is more than happy to be your guiding hand in tough times.
Outside of work Anthony embraces his affinity with the ocean and loves to swim. He also loves to cook, read, watch movies, and annoy his kids with the usual litany of Dad jokes.
