Gillian is responsible nationally for the firms’ operations and human resource functions and supports the leadership team in the development and implementation of innovation, talent engagement and operational efficiency.
With over 23 years’ experience working in the legal industry, Gillian has a passion for organisational development, optimising technology use, performance metrics and development of inclusive workplaces where all colleagues can thrive.
Gillian holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Politics) and Diploma of Legal Practice. For the past eighteen years she has worked in senior leadership roles and managed teams in Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle, leading with empathy and understanding to support professionals in their delivery of exemplary client service.
Gillian has contributed to committee memberships with regulatory bodies, not for profit organisations and providers of pro bono legal services who deliver access to justice for persons from a CALD background, experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. Gillian acknowledges past injustices and ongoing inequalities experienced by our First Nations people. She supports acknowledging truth in history and the impact of intergenerational trauma in relation to the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
