Sarah began her journey with the Australian Government Solicitor, working in the Commercial team and conveyancing. She then took a unique path, spending three years helping her brothers run Denman Cellars Beer Café in Airlie Beach, showcasing her adaptability and management skills.
Returning to Canberra, Sarah joined the Director of Public Prosecutions, where she worked on the Family Violence and sexual assault list. As a prosecutor’s assistant, she gained invaluable courtroom experience, attending court sessions and sitting in on various cases, including high-profile murder trials. This role was extremely interesting and further fueled her passion for justice.
Sarah’s expertise in historical abuse cases was solidified through her work with Porters Lawyers, Ken Cush & Associates, and Shine Lawyers. Her dedication to this challenging field is evident in her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to her clients.
In addition to her legal roles, Sarah served as a PA to a Commandant at the Department of Defence, demonstrating her strong administrative skills and ability to support high-level officials.
In March 2023, Sarah moved to Queensland, seeking a new environment and fresh opportunities. She now thrives in her management position with the Personal Injury Team at Chamberlains Law Firm. Sarah’s strong focus on abuse work continues to drive her, and she is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her clients.
